What does a typical visit look like?

Visits are individualized depending on you or your child’s goals. In the initial session (60 minutes) the dietitian will conduct an assessment, asking a series of questions pertaining to health history, lifestyle, and goals. In follow up sessions (30 minutes), the dietitian will begin to provide education and counseling pertaining to your goals.
What ages are you able to work with?

Hannah has experience working with all ages. We are passionate about helping you reach your health goals no matter what stage of life you are in.
Do you only work with athletes?

Nope, we work with non-athletes as well! Outside of sports nutrition, we specialize in eating disorders, disordered eating, and women’s health. We also provide services for general health and wellness guidance. If you have questions regarding how we can support you with your specific health goals, please give us a call to schedule a free 10-minute consultation.
What’s the difference between a registered dietitian and a nutritionist.

The main difference between the two is the education and legal regulations of the title. The title “nutritionist” is not regulated by law, which means anyone can call themselves a nutritionist. A registered dietitian is required to obtain a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from an accredited program in nutrition, as well as complete a dietetic internship with a minimum of 1200 supervised hours. They are then required to sit for a national accreditation exam to earn the RD/RDN title. To stay informed on the latest nutrition research, registered dietitians are required to complete a minimum of 75 continuing education hours every 5 years.
What is your cancellation policy?

Due to the busy nature and wait times of our clients, we adhere to a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. If you know ahead of time that you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, please reach out via phone or e-mail at least 24 hours prior to reschedule. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a $50 late-cancellation/no-show fee. We appreciate your understanding.
